Indiana Republican Primary Senate Debate

So the Indiana primaries are coming up on May 4th and I have had a hard time finding much info about the candidates.

Something called The Green Papers is the best resource I’ve found. It has up-to-date info on who’s running for what, with additional links and candidate info.

In the senate race, there will be no Democratic primary, due to the late withdrawal of Evan Bayh. Congressman Brad Ellsworth is expected to be their candidate.

Independents running are Timothy Lee Frye (Public Party) and Donnie H. “Don” Harris (no party listed)

On the Republican side, former U.S. Senator Dan Coats, former U.S. congressman John Hostettler, IN senator Marlin A. Stutzman, and fresh-faces
Dan Bates, Jr. and Richard J. Behney are running. I found a debate between the 5 candidates in Warsaw, IN from March 6th, 2010. A lot of overlap (fiscal responsibility, smaller government, etc.), but there were differences. For example, on the president question, Hostetler said he voted for Ron Paul and would do so again, Bates named Mike Pence without hesitation, and Behney said it was too early to even be discussing.
